Duties & Responsibilities

As a Radiotherapy R&D Scientist, major responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Participation in research activities intended to improve performance and capabilities of Radiotherapy-based products, including but not limited to CT-LINAC,MR-LINAC etc.
  • Maintaining clinical and technical expertise by collaborating with internal leadership, development teams and research partners for development, evaluation and testing on prototypes and new products, tracking milestones and deliverables of research projects.
  • Tracking latest technology and research activities of competitors, offering constructive R&D suggestions and plans
  • Keeping customers & collaboration partners informed about United Imaging’s state-of-the-art technologies.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.
  • 2 – 5 years of experience (clinical or industry) in radiotherapy is required. Research experience in IGRT, CT-LINAC,MR-LINAC,artificial intelligence, adaptive radiotherapy, automated treatment planning with a proven record of scientific publications is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills with strong self-motivation
  • Desire to learn, ask questions and be resourceful to identify innovative applications and creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 25%, including short term international trips.
