Are you open to a new adventure? Our client is a well-established Government Manufacturer adding a Senior Electrical engineer to its team. The right engineer will receive a six-figure salary and full benefits.
However, if you are a recent Graduate and are interested in joining this team, they do have other engineering positions available. The ideal candidate will have military experience in Electrical Engineering.
Technical Job Qualifications:
PLC hardware using ladder logic, function block, and structured text-based programming
experience with various HMI hardware developing custom multi-screen applications
Experience with various communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, and CANbus, both serial and Ethernet-based
Familiar with communication structures using managed switches and fiber optic ring configurations
Ability to interface with customers on various subjects, including troubleshooting support & progress updates
Familiar with low and medium voltage switchgear, including design principles and associated hardware, including automatic voltage regulators, electronic governors, protection relays, auto synchronizers
Understanding of obsolescence replacement and design
Able to read and design to various requirement specs, including MIL, ABS, ANSI, and IEEE requirements
Familiar with equipment qualification to MIL and IEC standards, including shock, vibration, and EMI qualification
Strong technical writing skills. Support the proposal team with developing technical proposals for new contracts. Proficiency with Microsoft programs and AutoCAD experience is a plus.
Field service at times required for troubleshooting and project support or installation. Travel time varies.
Management Job Qualifications, there is a lot of growth possibility with this position.
Manage a team of engineers and designers, providing direction on tasks and scheduling.
Project management: managing various projects using Microsoft Project schedules, tracking progress and milestones, and interfacing with suppliers and subcontractors on various projects.
Interface with potential new customers regarding new proposals, providing technical support.
Support Production staff as needed with questions and problems building and testing equipment.
Provide proposal support, including scheduling, labor, and timeline estimates.
Support the hiring process of the engineering team and QA/electrical technicians.
Provide Engineering inputs and support of process Production items, including implementation of design changes, availability of required drawings, and documentation submittals supporting various projects.
