Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Pro Talent Group, a proud division of MS-IL Staffing & Packaging, and its local client are on the lookout for a full-time 2nd shift Maintenance Technician in the Indianapolis, Indiana, area.

Shifts Available:

• 2nd Shift: 2 PM - 10:30 PM, M-F

What You'll Do:

As the Maintenance Technician, you'll be ensuring equipment reliability by repairing and maintaining a diverse range of processing equipment across the plant.

Your duties include:

Safety First: Adhere to all company, OSHA, and government rules and procedures, including Lock-out/Tag-out, GMPs, and food safety/SQF Program standards.

Preventative Maintenance: Support our PM program, aiming to slash unscheduled downtime.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and craft sustainable solutions for equipment woes, dealing with PLCs, VFDs, electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and more.

Record Keeper: Keep detailed logs of all your tasks.

Team Player: Help with equipment changes, line startups, and cross-functional CI projects.

Inventory Guru: Keep tabs on parts inventories and reorder lists.

What You'll Need:

Education: An Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a big plus, but not a deal-breaker.

Experience: 3+ years of maintenance experience or 5 years in a related trade. Bonus points if you've worked in the food processing/manufacturing scene for 6+ months.

Skills: You're handy with machine and hand tools, electrical troubleshooting gear, and you know your way around motors and specs.
