Inventory Manager

Job Purpose:

The Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management of traffic control equipment and materials. The ideal candidate will have strong inventory management skills, and experience in traffic control operations is a plus.

Job Duties:

• Maintain accurate records of traffic control equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary materials and equipment.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in inventory management, preferably in the construction or transportation industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Requirements/ Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
• Requires lifting and carrying of up to 50lb or more.
• Requires using hands to handle, control or lift objects with a strong grip
