Property Accountability Services (PAS) –Northern Region (NR) Logistics Analyst
Customer: Naval Surface Warfare Center / NAVSEALOGCEN
Location: Carderock, MD
Salary Range: Negotiable
Start Date: Immediately
Logistics Analyst Education: A four-year degree in a business, logistics, or related field. May substitute five or more years of experience in a related field for this “desired” education.
Logistics Analyst Experience: Candidate shall have 3 or more years in a related field.
Active SECRET clearance required.
Logistics Analyst Job Description:
This position performs technical logistical management in the areas of receiving, sorting, counting, weighing, packaging, and unpacking material; inventory shipped or received; loading/unloading trucks and delivering to customer; verify shipments by confirming material, quantities, destination, and method of delivery; recording materials moved or handled with Navy ERP; storage and organization of material; disposition efforts including obtaining and maintaining ETIDS and eRMS access and screen material for proper disposition; provide guidance to contractor’s supply technicians, material coordinators, warehouse specialists, and shipping/receiving clerks. Assignments require cross training and performing tasks in other work areas as needed and training fellow contractors on the same.
This individual should have knowledge or expertise with ERP/SAP Warehouse Management; standard warehouse processes; commercial and DOD packaging requirements; business rules; adherence to SOPs and governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines. The Senior Logistician enters data into Navy ERP for accountability; performs inventory audits and provides subsequent inventory and metrics reports; responds to computer output instructions or error conditions and resolves common error conditions; documents all errors related to orders shipped and received and files claims with manufacturers for defective goods; performs causative research to bring frustrated material to accurate record; creates, executes, and monitors through completion shipping documents such as Commercial and Government Bills of Lading; and operates a manually controlled, gasoline, electric or liquid propane gas powered MHE to transport goods and materials of all kinds within a storage facility. Additionally, this person ensures attachment of tags, labels and/or markings to material.
Candidate should be familiar with and have the ability to supervise and monitor the following types of activities:

· Receive, document, and induct In-Bound Materiel into Navy ERP
· Process Open Orders, Bills of Lading, Warehouse Movement Forms (WMFs), and Completed Files
· Discrepancy & Deficiency Reporting
· Government Acceptance Transaction Verification
· Identification & Cataloging
· Conduct Materiel Storage, Warehousing, COSIS & Issuing procedures
· Manage Warehousing/Re-warehousing operations and reporting
· Materiel Handling Equipment (MHE) and Lifting
· MHE Training and Licensing
· Preservation, Packaging, Packing and Marking (PPP&M)
· Inventory Management
· Customer Service Support
· Materiel Movement
· Supervise Motor Vehicle Operators (MVO)
· Provide Digital Data Management
Other duties include, but are not limited to:
The Candidate shall be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis.
Notes: 1) This position may require occasional travel within the Continental United States
(CONUS) to various locations.
2) This position requires full COVID vaccination.
