Job description

Logistics Support Analyst (LSA)


Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Support Analyst to support the development, management, and delivery of Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) data in compliance with applicable government and industry standards. The LSA will work closely with engineering, program management, and government customers to ensure system supportability throughout the product life cycle.


Responsibilities

       ∙      Develop and maintain LSA records, Logistics Management Information (LMI), and associated deliverables in accordance with MIL-STD-1388-2B, GEIA-STD-0007, and/or ASD S3000L

       ∙      Conduct Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) in support of program requirements

       ∙      Prepare and deliver LSA-related Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) items on schedule

       ∙      Coordinate with systems engineers to capture supportability requirements and translate them into actionable logistics data

       ∙      Support provisioning activities including development of Provisioning Parts Lists (PPL) and participation in Provisioning Technical Documentation meetings

       ∙      Collaborate with technical writers, trainers, and supply chain personnel to ensure ILS element integration

       ∙      Participate in Logistics Reviews, Design Reviews, and customer program meetings

       ∙      Identify and track supportability risks and coordinate mitigations with the program team

Required Qualifications

       ∙      Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, or a related technical field (equivalent experience considered)

       ∙      1-3 years of experience performing LSA in a defense or government contracting environment

       ∙      Working knowledge of MIL-STD-1388-2B, GEIA-STD-0007, or ASD S3000L standards

       ∙      Familiarity with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements including maintenance planning, supply support, technical documentation, and training

       ∙      Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (if required by program)

       ∙      Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing formal deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

       ∙      Hands-on experience using SLICwave Life Cycle (SLICwave LC) for LSA data entry, analysis, and report generation

       ∙      Experience with provisioning processes and S2000M material management standards

       ∙      Familiarity with ASD S1000D technical documentation standards

       ∙      Experience supporting Navy, Army, Air Force, or other DoD programs

       ∙      Prior use of PLM system integrations in a logistics context
