Job Summary
Support the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 Missile Segment Enhancement and Future Interceptor weapon systems by serving as a Logistics Analyst and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Integrated Product Support. The candidate will develop a technical understanding of interceptor system components, logistics requirements, and sustainment strategies to ensure critical support elements are integrated and executed effectively across the program life cycle. This role will coordinate with government program offices, engineering teams, and logistics stakeholders to support planning, fielding, sustainment, and modernization activities. The position will help ensure readiness and lifecycle supportability by aligning logistics planning with evolving interceptor capabilities and operational requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Candidate will be required to conduct logistics support analysis and must understand logistics Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements as outlined in AR 700-127.Analyze field surveillance data and provide detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
  • The candidate will be responsible for evaluation of IPS elements and making an analysis on critical decisions for program life cycle logistics support to include development of milestone documentation, fielding plans, logistics demonstration plans and reports, and the development of Basis of Issue Plan/Manpower Requirements Criteria (BOIP/MARC).Ensure all technical documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with program standards and requirements.
  • Research availability and support the procurement, delivery and acquisition planning of GFE and other support equipment required for system development, integration, and test during all phases of the program. .
  • Support the engagements with DA/DOW agencies, activities and industry engaged in logistics activities and reviews and analyzes reports for assigned systems to determine solutions to logistics problems to circumvent potential impacts to program cost, schedule, and performance. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards during field activities.

Basic Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree with 16 years of relevant experience, Associate's degree with 17 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma with 19 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting air and missile defense programs, interceptor development, or related defense systems engineering activities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Military service background with hands-on PATRIOT system experience (e.g., U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery). Familiarity with integrated air defense networks (e.g., IAMD, THAAD, Aegis).
  • Certification in systems engineering, project management, life cycle logistics, contracting (e.g., DAWIA Contracting Level II/III), or defense-related technical fields.
  • Experience supporting interceptor development or modernization programs, including requirements development, system integration, flight testing, or coordination with government program offices and prime contractors.
