Entry Level Accounting Graduates for Staff Accountant

Quest Financial is seeking qualified candidates for an Entry level Staff Accountant.  Looking for Recent Accounting or Finance graduates who want to get their foot in the door!!!

Direct Hire

$50-55K (could go up to $60K if candidate has some exp)

In office, but could have some flexibility after they get settled

Hours are flexible (core hours are 9am-4pm)

• Entry-level straight out of college (NEED Accounting or Finance degree)

Position Overview:

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting the monthly close process for Southeast Connections as well as the day to day activity. Assists in making improvements or accounting changes and provide ongoing support to the Accounting Team.

Essential Functions: 

•      Assists in supporting the monthly financial close including preparation of journal entries and month end activities in the general ledger in order to perform the month end closing process timely and accurately.

•      Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts and follow up on reconciling items to ensure that accounting transactions comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

•      Prepares monthly standard and reoccurring general ledger journal entries.

•      Assists in the preparation of the monthly financial statements, analysis, and reporting.

•      Assists in the annual audit process.

•      Participated in special projects as needed.

•      Reviews and approves daily expense reports via Concur.

•      Trouble shoots and assists employees in the field with Concur/Expense Report issues.
