GRI-Alleset has a career-building opportunity for a Warehouse Quality Assistant to join a dynamic and rapidly growing company. The ideal candidate will be positive, proactive, innovative, and have a “can-do” attitude.

The Warehouse Quality Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our warehouse inventory control process. WQA will be responsible for continuing inventory cycle count and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement for inventory accuracy.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Inventory Cycle Count:
  • Continually conduct inventory cycle count.
  • Identify discrepancy and conduct further investigation for root causes.
  • Work with WH team implement and verify any corrections, and/or corrective and preventive actions.
  • Summarize cycle count report and for management to review.
• Quality Inspections:
  • Perform visual and physical inspections of any potential non-conformance RM and FG, checking for defects and damage.
• Documentation and Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality records, including documentation of non-conforming products and corrective actions taken.
• Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in WH to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
• Training and Support:
  • Provide training and support to warehouse staff on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Ensure that all warehouse personnel are knowledgeable about quality requirements and procedures.
• Quality Assurance Compliance:
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and other team members regarding quality-related matters.
  • Key connection between WH and QA departments.
• Other/ related duties as required.

Qualifications/ Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations or quality assurance preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
• Forklift certificate is preferred.
• Additional language Spanish would be plus

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a WH environment with exposure to varying temperatures and conditions.
• Climb stairs.
• Stand, sit, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Minimum traveling will be required. This position primarily involves on-site responsibilities at IACS and FB warehouse facility, and occasional travel to other facilities may be required for training or quality-related activities.
