Job Description:

Title: Operations Analyst

Duration: 6+ Months on W2 without benefits.

Location: Somerville, MA 02144

Summary:

The Operations Analyst position provides hands-on installation, maintenance, modification, and repairs on all physical equipment (servers, storage, switches, etc.) located within the data centers, networking / telecommunications rooms, and major routing hubs.

Responsibilities:

Monitoring, implementation, and support of data center and network / telecom closets infrastructure including racks, cabling, UPS units, RPDU (rack PDU), and environmental controls through DCIM (data center infrastructure management) tools such as Schneider Electric Struxureware and Johnson Controls Metasys.

The position is also responsible for supporting data center operators in their duties, monitoring systems & applications, working with internal TTS clients, and communicating with vendors. The Operations Analyst will take overall direction from the Manager of Data Center and Infrastructure Operations and the Senior Operations Analyst but will be expected to accomplish specific projects independently by using sound judgment.

The position participates in the on-call rotation of the Data Center during unattended hours.
