Maintenance Assistant Manager

20/20 Custom Molded Plastics is now hiring for Maintenance Assistant Manager at our Bluffton, Indiana location. This position will report directly with the Maintenance Manager to learn all fundamentals of the job.

We are looking for someone who is hands-on and who is willing to work side by side with their team.

Maintenance Manager Responsibilities

• Schedule Preventative Maintenance.
• Mentor and supervise the maintenance techs in their training and daily activities
• Assist in the troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment that isn’t working properly (primarily when the technicians are having problems).
• Work with outside contractors for new equipment installation and machine moves.
• Ensure spare parts and preventative maintenance items are on hand and managed.
• Experience with electrical, Ranger Robots, hydraulics, mold set-up, compressors and chillers.
• Perform fabrication per instructions or as deemed necessary.
• Maintain records, prints, and files reports as directed.
• Document repairs as directed by the Maintenance Manager or PM Program.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and accomplish repairs to minimize downtime.
• Evaluate maintenance personnel per company guidelines.
• Train and develop Maintenance Personnel.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 5 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience.
• 5 years of leadership experience.
