Position Summary 

Vector Media is seeking a motivated, full-time Jr. Accountant to join our Accounting team in the New York City area. Reporting to our Accounting Manager, the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic finance team while enhancing procedures in billing, accounts receivable and accounts payable.

What You’ll Bring:

• 1+ years of accounting experience
• BA in Accounting, preferred
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite or comparable accounting software, preferred
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, and other Office programs
• Solid organizational, analytical, and verbal and written communication skills

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting processes, such as accounts payable vendor setup, reviewing, coding, and entering vendor bills, weekly bill payment processing, and accounts receivable billing review, collections, payment application
• Assist in purchase order processing with our production team to ensure proper bills are received and approved
• Responsible for day-to-day billing and collection procedures.
• Assist department managers with month-end close for payables, receivables, and accruals, as well as annual audit procedures
• Ad-hoc projects
