Location: Flower Mound, TX

Shift: M-F 8-5

Salary: 70-90k

Travel: 10% +/-

A rapidly growing manufacturing company is looking for a qualified Sales Application Engineer to join their motivated team in advancing process technology with creativity, passion, and unmatched expertise at a global scale.

Responsibilities:
• Develop a system concept and create a conceptual layout drawing (CLD) of the proposed system.
• Generate pricing for equipment utilizing internal pricing tools and soliciting bids from vendors.
• Work with the Sales team to generate pricing and proposals for customers.
• Revise the drawing, pricing, and/or proposal as needed.
• Work with engineering and manufacturing to establish a delivery schedule.
• Prepare projects for handoff to the Project Management team. Answer questions during mfg and installation.
• Occasionally travel to customer locations with the Sales Managers. Answer questions about equipment.
• Interface with Project Engineers when establishing system layouts.
• Interface with Production Engineers when developing schedules.
• Interface with Development Engineers when discussing the application of new design concepts.
• Use AutoCAD LT to create conceptual layout drawings.
• Use Salesforce and BigMachines to generate pricing and proposals.
• Use SAP to enter order information and research historical data.

Requirements:
• Associates of Applied Science degree in an engineering-related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Required
• 1+ year of Inventor and AutoCAD experience producing 2-dimensional drawings. Required
• Able to travel 15-20% locally and regionally (1-2 trips per month). Required
• Industrial Food Equipment Manufacturing Experience. Preferred
• Cost estimating and budgeting experience. Preferred
• Experience generating pricing and proposals for customers. Preferred
• Experience using SAP. Preferred
