Position: EEG Technician
Location: Norwood Office
Department: Diagnostics
Schedule: Monday through Friday, No Weekends and No Holidays, No Nights

Responsibilities:
As an EEG Technician at Riverhills Neuroscience, you will play a crucial role in patient care, contributing to both clinical and administrative functions. Your responsibilities include:
- Perform all types of EEG testing to include Electroencephalography (EEG), Visual Evoked Response (VER), Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response (BAER) and Ambulatory EEG exams
- Obtain complete patient/implant history to ensure all safety requirements are met.
- Prepare the patient by explaining the exam and monitor the patient's status throughout the test.
- Apply independent judgment to produce studies of excellent quality, confirming quality with the neurologists, and reporting any routine changes to administrator and co-workers.
- Assist with the scheduling of patients to ensure timeliness of exam and compliance with policies.
- All other duties as assigned.
Background and Experience
- EEG Technician Certification preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years as an EEG Tech in a hospital and/or healthcare setting.
- Experience with an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Practice management system is required.
- Great interpersonal skills with sound judgment, maturity, and an ability to establish good rapport with patients, physicians, vendors, and staff.
- Ability to deal with patients, physicians and staff with tact and diplomacy.
