Position Summary:

The Engineering Technician will work with Manufacturing and Engineering to document processes throughout the facility.

Essential Responsibilities:

Time Studies:
- Preform time study as needed
- Complete time studies on assigned areas to include production capacity or defect pareto charts as needed
- Properly maintains time study files to ensure accuracy
Standard work:
- Create and complete training documents on new processes or new equipment
- Work with Engineering and Production to develop standard work for assigned areas
- Properly maintain standard work files to ensure accuracy
Engineering Masters:
- Work with Engineering to document jobs into engineering masters
- Assist Graphics to deliver engineering masters to Supply Chain
Production:
- Assist production needs as required
- Provide critical defect data and possible solutions
- Work closely with Supervisor and Quality on an order by order basis to understand the daily needs

Other Important Responsibilities:

Timely Corrective Action response and resolution to relevant project situations
Engage and support companywide Safety and Cleanliness Programs
Will be required to perform other job functions, as assigned

Physical qualifications and work environment:

Must be able to lift 20 lbs;
Must be able to sustain office work for 8+ hours per day including the following:
- Sitting in an office chair
- Typing
- Reaching for the telephone
- Standing at office equipment
- Hearing for phone use
- Sight for computer use
Must be able to sustain factory work as needed including the following:
- Standing at machinery
- Reaching and pulling to operate machinery
- Sight for machinery operation
- Walking through shop
Office environment is of moderate noise level
Shop noise levels are such that protective ear-coverings are recommended
