Correspondence/Imaging Clerk

CARESTL HEALTH is seeking a Correspondence Imaging Clerk. The Correspondence/Imaging Clerk performs the duties required to provide health information management services to external and internal customers.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare release of information requests for external customers (i.e. Attorneys, Insurance Companies, Division of Family Services (DFS), State Agencies, Disability Determinations, Patients, Medical Centers, Physician's Offices, etc.); Review health records for signatures before releasing information to external customers.
• Collect correspondence, laboratory, x-ray, and other reports from assigned modules; Arrange loose medical reports that arrive in the Health Information Services Department; Scan loose reports in the appropriate tab.
• Maintain report log for release of information requests for internal and external customers and other duties assigned.
• Review and utilize the Electronic Health Record (Eclinical Works).
• Maintain weekly department tracking log of productivity

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

Previous health information management experience preferred.

• Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
