Information Technology (IT) Manager

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented IT Manager to lead our Information Technology team in supporting a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for the overall IT infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and alignment with our business goals. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial automation systems and the ability to collaborate effectively with operational teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of the IT infrastructure, including network, servers, desktops, and industrial control systems.
• Develop and implement a strategic IT roadmap that aligns with the company's business objectives.
• Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems and data, implementing and maintaining appropriate security protocols.
• Lead the IT team in providing technical support and troubleshooting for end-users across the organization.
• Manage IT budgets and procurements, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies relevant to the manufacturing industry and recommend their implementation for process improvement.
• Partner with operations and engineering teams to understand their IT needs and develop solutions that enhance production efficiency and safety.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for IT systems.
• Oversee IT projects and ensure their successful completion on time and within budget.
• Manage and develop the IT staff, providing training and mentorship opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably within an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Proven experience in managing and maintaining complex IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and industrial control systems.
• Strong understanding of IT security best practices and experience implementing them.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Experience with project management methodologies.
• Working knowledge of industrial automation systems (e.g., SCADA, PLC) a plus
