Audio Video Technician

Well established and surging Audio Video company based in North Easton, MA is looking for a full-time audio video technician with knowledge of integration and control systems and networking in both commercial and residential environments.

This is NOT an entry-level position.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Installation and termination of cables for voice, data, speakers, access control, cameras, control systems
• Installation, connection and testing of Audio Video equipment such as: boardroom video walls; speakers; projectors and screens; smart TVs; security cameras; door access control systems; Residential Whole Home audio and integration.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and equipment manufacturer installation instructions
• Train customers in the use of installed systems and specific devices

Job Requirements:

• Two-plus years of hands-on installation experience in commercial and/or residential environment
• Familiarity with Crestron, RTi or another control system
• Proficiency with cable pulling, audio, video, control, network terminations and testing
• Knowledge of construction techniques and wiring methods for new and existing construction
• Ability to work under pressure, assess multiple demands and manage priorities
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used to complete installations of speakers, displays, equipment racks.
• Ability to work off a step ladder, extension ladder, scissor or boom lift
• Ability to work all shifts as needed, including the potential for weekend work
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable travel
