Business Development Officer

Meredith Village Savings Bank has a new and exciting opportunity for a Business Development Officer to join our team in Laconia, NH. The successful applicant will use strong communication and relationship building skills to deliver exceptional customer service. In this role, the applicant will provide client relationship support to existing customers and generate new business leads.

Salary based on level of experience

Business Development Officer: $60,000- $75,000

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Promotes a favorable image of the Bank and services in all business activities
• Responsible for calling on existing and prospective customers to promote new and additional business for the Bank
• Maintains a referral system for leads generated from other bank employees, centers of influence, and networking
• Promotes a superior level of business relationships while achieving individual and bank goals

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance preferred
• 2-3 years of retail banking branch experience, including business development and/or sales responsibilities and training
• Solid retail banking knowledge regarding products, services, policies, and regulations, including lending procedures and practices
• Ability to meet established production goals and deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail
• Superior Customer Service abilities and is highly organized
