Job Title: Water Well Logger

Employment Type: Full Time Direct Hire

Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Location: Woodland, California (Northern CA near Sacramento Airport)

Summary:

The Water Well Logger uses geophysical mapping tools to inspect and assess groundwater wells in addition to the before and aftereffects of well rehabilitation. The Water Well Logger  may use video logging if necessary to interpret the efficacy of the water well rehabilitation. The water well Logger water well video logging has been in the assessment of well condition, relative to declining well performance—such as loss of well yield, sanding, or changes in water quality.

Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

• Accurately document the construction of the well
• Identify any concerns
• Establish a baseline condition of the well for future reference.
• Conduct video logging in a specific and consistent manner.
• Verify construction and integrity of newly completed wells.
• Document the internal condition of existing wells.
• Ensure compliance with Industrial and OSHA health and safety regulations

Requirements:

·         Demonstrate solid understanding of, and adherence to, safety protocols.

·         Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks in a timely manner.

• Ability to learn and follow directions/instructions.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and able to write legibly.
• Must meet all physical requirements for the job.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must have dependable transportation and phone.
• Must have good customer relations skills.

·         Maintain cooperative relationships with peers and team members.

·         Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English for basic job function.

·         Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical or safety procedures, manuals, and standards.

·         Ability to convey messages to clients, engineers and other personnel as needed.                               

·         Valid Class C driver license

Education and Experience:

• One year of previous experience working as a Well Logger.

·         High School diploma or equivalent.
