Retail Operations Coordinator

Overview of the Position

The Retail Operations Coordinator provides support to all stores, Store Managers, Zone Managers and others as needed. The role reports to the Senior Manager Retail Operations but will work collaboratively with all corporate and field partners to facilitate communication, get answers to questions, solve problems and provides solutions for stores. In addition, this person will have responsibility for managing and resolving store maintenance issues, managing store supplies orders, providing certificates of insurance and other landlord required documentation, and other administrative tasks. A successful person in this role is organized and oriented to service – “I'm on it!” is the catchphrase of this job. Although the official duties are detailed below, this is a person who becomes valuable because s/he jumps in where there is a need and gets it done. This can be a stepping-stone to a career path role within the Tandy organization.

Main Responsibilities

• Store Requests. Manage store supplies – including bags, packaging, nametags, cleaning and office supplies, taking requests from stores, working with our Executive Assistant, the product team and warehouse to manage stock, and with our warehouse staff to ship to stores. Track all spend to the budget.
• Maintenance and Repairs. Create a schedule for and manage regular maintenance contracts for HVAC and other services as required by our leases for all stores. Be the primary point of contact with stores and Zone Managers for ad hoc repairs – coordinate with our General Counsel on any disputes with landlords or to resolve responsibility for repairs. Keep a log and documentation of maintenance and repairs and regular reporting for Retail leadership. Track all spend to the budget.
• Administration. Provide administrative support to the retail team including ad hoc reporting on classes, budgets, training, manual and policy revision and updates, provide support for travel and meetings, and other tasks as needed.

Essential Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior work experience in any role requiring organization, collaboration, working independently
• Highly organized, able to set priorities, attention to detail, strong multi-tasker
• Resourceful, strong sense of initiative and ownership
• Collaborative team player, strong interpersonal skills
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including OneNote, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and the usual Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience with SmartSheet a plus.
• Strong aptitude for broader technology tools such as Zoom, iPhone, Ring, security systems, Concur

Compensation

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and skill set, but the range is $45,000-50,000 annually, with opportunity to earn an annual bonus of up to 2.5% of base pay based on achieving company-wide annual performance targets. This is an exempt position.
