Service Advisor

Job Summary:
The Service Advisor at Napleton Buick GMC in Crystal Lake, Illinois is responsible for providing excellent customer service while maximizing sales opportunities in the automotive industry. This is a Full Time, salary + commission sales job as an individual contributor, offering a compensation range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year in a great working environment.

Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Act as a liaison between customers and service technicians to communicate necessary repairs and maintenance
• Utilize sales techniques to promote automotive services and increase overall service sales
• Collaborate with service technicians to set realistic time frames for repairs and communicate updates to customers
• Maintain accurate records of customer information, service repairs, and sales transactions
• Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
• Meet and exceed sales goals and targets set by management
• Stay updated on automotive industry trends, products, and services
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and answering customer inquiries

Requirements:
• Previous sales experience in the automotive industry preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance services
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of office software
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
