Role: Custom Antibody Services Project Manager

FLSA: Exempt

Location: Poway, CA

Why this role is important at Genesee Scientific?

The Custom Antibody Services Project Manager is responsible for managing custom antibody and other service projects from inquiries through delivery. This role is key in supporting customer success and acts as a subject matter expert in designing projects to maximize a successful outcome as well as consulting with the laboratories and selecting partners to ensure that each project proceeds seamlessly. The successful candidate will manage the services portfolio, service partner relationships, and identify potential new vendor or supplier partners for technology expansion to support marketing, sales, and manage projects to exceed customer expectations.


What will you do:

  • Manage and update services portfolio and promotional materials collaboratively.
  • Identify technologies to boost revenue across sales channels.
  • Support marketing in segment identification and service positioning.
  • Expand services portfolio through partner relationship development.
  • Regularly review and update services portfolio, including pricing.
  • Develop and implement services policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Lead end to end management of custom service projects.
  • Function as the primary customer contact, providing regular updates and addressing inquiries.
  • Work with team to manage scheduling, data entry, and material logistics. Provides leadership and coaching.
  • Will develop and generate regular performance metrics on business initiatives.
  • Prepare service descriptions, draft contracts, and review master service agreements.
  • Troubleshoot customer projects internally and externally.
  • Support accounting in invoice follow-ups and payment processing; Generate project invoices and support accounting in payment processing.
  • Collaborate with partners for regulatory approvals and necessary permits.
Requirements:


What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences required; biology or immunology preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience in academia, biotech industry or life sciences environments. Must have experience with antibodies, antibody development/discovery experience is a plus. Project management experience is required.
  • Knowledge of immunology and animal care as well as NIH/OLAW and USDA regulatory requirements is preferred
  • Skilled in troubleshooting scientific data, processes, and protocols.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and able to communicate well and relate professionally to all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized to be able to multi-task, accomplish goals and meet deadlines; Strong time management skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results orientated, strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; experience with FileMaker and QuickBooks is a plus.
