Hybrid work. Office based in Needham (Boston), Massachusetts. 

Evident Scientific designs and manufactures a diverse range of life science and industrial products, including microscopes (conventional and digital) as well as new innovative digital pathology solutions. We serve a diverse range of customers doing cutting-edge research in the Life Science and Material Sciences including, Hospitals, Academia, Pharmaceutical, semiconductor, electrical and many more. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager, Life Science to drive demand generation, market development, and commercialization activities across Evident's Life Science portfolio. This role will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing programs that support portfolio growth, product launches, customer acquisition, and market expansion across key research and applied science segments.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in life science marketing, a deep understanding of scientific research workflows, and a proven ability to develop global campaigns that generate measurable business impact. This individual must be comfortable working cross-functionally within a global matrix organization and translating complex scientific solutions into compelling customer value propositions.

Segment Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute integrated marketing plans aligned to Life Science business goals and growth priorities. Partner with product management and commercial leaders to identify market opportunities and accelerate portfolio growth.

Campaign Development & Demand Generation: Define, build, launch, and optimize global marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and lead generation. Collaborate across marketing to execute multi-channel programs in digital, content, events, social media, and field marketing channels.

Product Launch & Commercialization: Lead marketing execution for new product introductions (NPIs) through campaign planning, execution, content development, and sales enablement. Ensure successful commercialization across global markets.

Market Segmentation & Customer Insights: Develop a deep understanding of key customer segments, including research, biopharma, cell biology, neuroscience, developmental biology, and core imaging facilities. Gather market, customer, and competitive insights to inform positioning, messaging, and campaign strategy.

Content Strategy & Scientific Storytelling: Lead development of customer-centric marketing content including application notes, case studies, webinars, videos, digital campaigns, presentations, brochures, and web content. Collaborate with product and commercial teams to develop compelling scientific narratives.

Sales Enablement: Partner with commercial teams to develop sales tools, presentations, and customer-facing resources that support opportunity development and conversion. Ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and sales priorities.

Event & Community Engagement: Collaborate with global and regional teams on conferences, workshops, webinars, and customer engagement activities. Support key events that strengthen Evident's presence in Life Science markets.

Performance Measurement & Optimization: Monitor campaign performance, marketing contribution to pipeline, lead generation metrics, and customer engagement. Utilize data-driven insights to continuously improve results and marketing ROI.

  • Educational Background: University degree in natural sciences, medicine, business administration, or a related field. Advanced scientific or business degree preferred.
  • Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in a leading marketing role, demonstrated success in product marketing and leading global campaigns, ideally with experience supporting scientific instrumentation, life science research tools, laboratory technologies, or related markets preferred.
  • Scientific Acumen: Understanding of life science research workflows and customer applications. Ability to translate technical product capabilities into differentiated customer messaging.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong data-driven decision-making skills to assess campaign and channel performance, with a keen understanding of market trends.
  • Collaborative Skills: Excellent ability to work effectively across different stakeholder groups in an international team environment.
  • Communication Skills: Superior English communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong presentation, storytelling, and content development capabilities.
  • Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.

Pay range:  126,863K to 158,579K base salary, plus 15% annual bonus target and benefits.
