Mechanical Engineer - Equipment Reliability
- $90,000 to $110,000 Yearly
- Vision , Medical , Dental , Paid Time Off , Life Insurance , Retirement
- Full-Time
This is a near entry level position in a high demand and high paying career.
This career path might be compelling because,
You’ll be setting yourself up as a high demand expert. It’s rare to see these types of opportunities as “entry level”, without a requirement for 5+ years of experience.
This work is important and needed in both good and bad economies and these positions are often open because people are highly sought after and recruited out to more lucrative opportunities.
You’ll interact with many people and departments in the plant which provides opportunities to pivot if you decide Reliability Engineering is becoming too routine.
This employer is compelling because,
They are committed to employees, promoting a culture of trust & respect, integrity & honesty, listening & learning which we’ve validated through conversation with long-term employees.
You can expect work-life balance with a 9/80 schedule and only one or two after-hours calls per year, distinguishing it from other 24/7 maintenance support roles. The managers’ report that most people work the early hours and head home before 4 p.m. each day. It’s the norm, not an exception.
This is a rewarding work environment with funds available for ongoing improvements and sufficient staffing to handle technical demands. They maintain a positive atmosphere unlike with severely cost-constrained sites.
Located in Southeastern PA near Philadelphia, they offer a comprehensive relocation package. For those previously accepting an entry-level job at a large plant in another geography, this is a good opportunity to return home.
