(2) Summer Food Service Driver's

These driver positions transport prepared food to various summer meal sites. Typically, employees use an Agency owned and operated vehicle for delivery. In the event an employee uses his/her personal vehicle out of necessity mileage will be reimbursed.

DUTIES:

• Transport prepared food from the Nutrition Services central kitchen to designated summer meal sites.
• Assist with meal packaging in to route coolers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to relate well with site staff
• Maintain a high degree of personal cleanliness
• Understand and carry out oral and written directions
• Knowledge of the objectives of the Senior Nutrition Program is helpful
• Ability to frequently lift in excess of 35 pounds

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to read well and follow instructions and have 3-12 months related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
• Valid NYS Driver’s License and a diving record within Agency policy

(Temporary) Part-Time up to 22.5 hours per week/13 weeks per year

Monday through Friday - 7:30 am to Noon
