Job Description
Multi-state design firm is seeking a Project Mechanical Engineer for their team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma!
Responsibilities:
- Provide mechanical design services for HVAC design, plumbing design, and mechanical modeling
- Serve as project manager on small projects
- Prepare planning/design documents
- Process design calculations
- Execute quality assurance/quality control plans
- Provide technical expertise to team to find timely solutions to issues
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Communicate with clients
- Coordinate projects with other teams, professional staff, technical staff, and clients
- Travel to job sites for observation and to client meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 6+ years of mechanical engineering experience
- PE License
- Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit
- Experience with RSMeans
- Understanding of International Building Codes
Salary is commensurate with experience.
