About the Job

Loopback Analytics is hiring a Senior Manager of Data Operations to lead and oversee the data operations processes within our Data Ingest team. As the Senior Manager of Data Operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data collected and delivered for analysis and modeling. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining data quality standards, optimizing processes, managing production data related incidents, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.

Job Duties to Include

• Establish and maintain robust data quality standards and protocols
• Monitor and evaluate data quality metrics to identify and address anomalies and inconsistencies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures
• Participate in efforts to identify and address data-related errors and discrepancies promptly
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to resolve issues and prevent future occurrences
• Continuously assess data operations processes for efficiency, scalability, and reliability
• Implement best practices and automation to streamline workflows and reduce manual interventions
• Drive initiatives to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of data-related processes
• Oversee all production related incidents, reducing overall mean time to resolution.
• Ensure raw data is cleansed, standardized, and structured for downstream analysis and modeling
• Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data transformation procedures
• Collaborate with the Chief Information Security Officer to ensure adherence to company policies and data protection regulations (e.g., HIPAA, SOC-2).
• Maintain a deep understanding of relevant data security and privacy regulations
• Manage relationship with third-party vendors, service providers and technology partners involved in data operations

Requirements

• A deep understanding of data management principles, data governance, data integration, data quality, and data architecture
• Proficiency in working with relational databases, NoSQL databases, data warehouses, and big data technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, etc.
• Experience in designing and managing ETL pipelines for processing and transforming raw data into usable formats
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Healthcare Informatics

• Experience in working with healthcare data and familiarity with the intricacies of healthcare data management
