Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Room Nurse to join our team in the *** Emergency Department. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional care to patients presenting to our 15-bed ED unit. With roughly 70 patients arriving daily, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment where every moment counts.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care needs effectively and efficiently.
• Provide direct nursing care to patients with diverse medical and trauma-related emergencies.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed and in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and timely.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of patient care processes.
• Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, providing emotional support and education as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in [state].
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• TNCC certification is preferred.
