JOB – EC&I Engineer

LOCATION - Tampa, FL

TERM - Permanent

SALARY- $100,000 - $130,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

My client – an international Engineering and Systems Integration company are on the lookout for an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join their team on a Full Time, Permanent basis near Tampa, FL.

The ideal candidate will have strong Electrical Design experience for full Instrumentation systems; and ideally experience in working through full project lifecycle phases for clients across a range of industries.

Additional experience working on Projects for clients within Process Industries (Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Energy etc.) is a necessity

The EC&I Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• MS or BS in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or similar
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical Software (although others will be considered)
• Demonstrable experience of Electrical Control Panel Design.
• Strong P&ID experience.
• Costing and Estimation experience for Electrical Panel BOMs.
• Ideally full project lifecycle experience.
• Process Industry background.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

The EC&I Engineer's role will involve:

• Design and Development of Production Machinery and full systems within process based industries (Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Petro-Chemical, Cosmetic etc).
• Electrical Control Panel Design using AutoCAD Electrical or EPlan.
• Ensuring compliance with directives and standards of systems throughout the Design process.
• Costing and Estimation for BOMs.
• Assessment of customer requirements and delivery of bespoke products to given specifications.
• Taking part in Design Review Meetings.
• Travel throughout North America to customer sites.
• Liaising with colleagues on other engineering tasks and projects as required.
