Rogers Behavioral Health, the area's leader in behavioral health services, is looking for a Chaplain/Spiritual Counselor to join our Oconomowoc location on first shift.
The Chaplain/Spiritual Counselor provides interfaith, non-denominational, spiritual care services in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and Manager of Spiritual Care and with medical director and/or attending physician’s approval in patient programs at many Rogers Memorial Hospital locations. This position requires an individual who can work in a spiritually pluralistic environment respecting the diversity of religious institutions, organizations and beliefs represented by our patient population.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field of study; Master's degree preferred, or working toward Master's degree.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in chaplaincy, ministry or lay ministry in a Christian church or organization OR Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Units.
- Clinical experience in a behavioral health organization preferred.
- Complete all CBRF/RCC training.
- Computer proficiency and working knowledge of software programs, including Windows packages.
- Valid Wisconsin drivers license. Must be granted insurable status by the Rogers Memorial Hospital insurance policy.
- Must pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.
