As a Senior Claims Manager, you will be an integral part of our team and our mission. You will be responsible for:

• Supervising day-to day activities and priorities of claims staff including the management of claims assignments and ongoing guidance of specialty claim files.
• Managing claim escalations as well as recommendation for claims appeals.
• Managing team staffing issues; including ensuring appropriateness of staffing levels, creating, implementing and monitoring of performance management activities for direct reports.
• Identifying skill gaps of staff and establishes appropriate training needs.
• Developing and delivering effective training and cross-training plans.
• Maintaining a strong professional knowledge of regulatory and legal environments and applies this information effectively.

Qualifications:

• You have at least 5-7 years commercial behavioral healthcare claims adjudication experience or 7 years of commercial healthcare claims adjudication experience in a complex healthcare organization.
• 3-5 years of management experience required.
• Out of Network claims experience is preferred.
• Must be able to supervise a staff, including informal training and formal development of team.
• Must have expert knowledge of ICD - 10 coding

• $70,000 - $80,000 (Based on Experience)
