Location: 2525 Midpoint Drive, Edwardsville, KS 66111

Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 3pm - 11pm

Mandatory overtime which may include some Saturdays and Sundays.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY:

Varsity Yearbook, A Varsity Achievement Brand, is looking to hire Digital Press Operators. As a member of the Varsity Yearbook Kansas City Yearbook team, you will be responsible for printing digital signatures on a digital press for the Key Yearbook Program.

WHAT YOU’LL DO ON A DAILY BASIS: 

• Operate and maintain multiple pieces of equipment. 
• Complete scheduled maintenance on operating presses during shift.
• Assure proofs match printed sheets from press. 
• Meet daily production quotas. 
• Adhere to all safety protocols. 
• Check for quality. • Print PDF files. 
• Scan out jobs through YBS and sign-out sheet. 
• Create and print variable data jobs.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Experience running digital printing presses.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as tracking sheets, order confirmation sheets and work orders.
• Experience with computers, printers, Excel, Darwin, Free Flow Rip, HP Server and Rip, iGen-5 and Adobe Acrobat Software.
