Job description

Digital Print Press Operator

Location: Post Falls, ID, 83854

Summary

Digital Lizard is looking for a Digital Printing Press Operator to join the team at our Post Falls, ID location. This position requires the capability to work both as a team member and independently. Digital Press Operators process customer orders on various digital press machines. This role reports to the Pressroom Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Adjust, operate, and maintain top of the line digital printing presses.
  • Manage print queue, ensure optimal print quality, perform quality checks, and replenish supplies such as ink and substrate to maintain consistent performance.
  • Perform minor repairs and conduct weekly maintenance.
  • Familiarize with products and printer specifications including setup, size, and paper.
  • Maintain a clean work environment while following all safety regulations.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Preferred knowledge of printing procedures, computer software, materials, equipment, safety requirements, and skills to perform assignments.
  • Mechanical knowledge and manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand job specifications to determine press setup and materials needed to run the job successfully.
  • Ability to work in a high-level, fast-paced environment while maintaining focus, attention to detail, and quick decision making.
  • Perform maintenance as needed daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
  • Job requires ability to exert 50 to 70 pounds of force frequently.
  • Flexible schedule required due to the nature of this position.
