Medical Assistant/CNA-PRN-Spanish Fork Urgent Care

Position Summary: Our Urgent Care/Family Medicine department has an opening for a on call Medical Assistant/CNA. If you like working in a fast-paced office and are a great Team Player, come join our Team.

Essential Job Functions: Some of the duties specific to this position are to assist with patient care examination and related tasks: Rooming patients, entering and recording all pertinent information into electronic medical records. Maintains clean and orderly exam rooms. Ensures exam rooms are properly stocked with needed supplies and equipment. Cleans and sterilizes instruments following clinic policy and procedures. Calls results and relays messages to patients as indicated by a provider in a prompt and courteous manner. Creates and maintains tasks and documents all patient interactions. Call/Fax/ prescriptions per protocol, along with other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Past MA/CNA experience preferred. MA/CNA certification is required. Must have outstanding customer service, organization, and attention to detail. Must also be a self-starter, team player, dependable, friendly and professional. Be able to multi-task and work efficiently. CPR certification required upon hire, along with yearly lab training.

Hours: on call - between Family Medicine and Urgent Care 0-40 hrs per week Hours could be anywhere Monday-Sunday 7:45 am-8 pm.
