On Call- Supervising Physician
Requirements:
•
Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
•
Licensed with no sanctions in Georgia
•
Board Certified / Board Eligible
•
Preferred specialties include Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine
•
Ability to be credentialed with all insurances including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans
Responsibilities:
•
Diagnosing common illnesses, providing specialist referrals when appropriate
•
Educating patients in disease prevention and health maintenance, as well as show clear and detailed follow ups with patients
•
Preparing medical records and clinical reports
•
Administering examinations, vaccinations and diagnostic testing as necessary
•
Supervising home visiting Nurse Practitioners
