Job Summary
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Construction Project Supervisor to join our team. Our company provides temporary site services to general contractors for construction sites. Our services include mobile office/labs, sanitary facilities, trash services, temporary power, internet and office equipment. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the project setup and take down to ensure they progress on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate is an expert in building methods and has a proven track record of successful construction management projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the construction project
- Coordinate with project team to determine the specifications of the project
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors and suppliers
- Secure necessary permits and licenses
- Ensure all professionals on site comply with building and safety regulations
- Schedule key deliverables and milestones and ensure progress is being made
- Estimate costs and keep the project within budget
- Coordinate subcontractors and outside vendors
- Supervise and direct vendors and subcontractors.
- Report on progress and schedule
- Identify and mitigate any potential issues that may arise
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Project/Systems Manager
- Previous experience handling multiple projects at a time
- General understanding of construction methods and processes
- General knowledge of electrical hookups
- Strong leadership and crisis resolution skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel and construction management software
- Ability to break large projects into small steps
- Willingness to manage and use company technology
