Behavioral Intervention Specialist-Fostering Futures

The Behavioral Intervention Specialist works within the Fostering Futures Program, which offers assistance and guidance to youth and families striving for prevention, stabilization, and reunification in their homes, schools, and communities.

The Intervention Specialist conducts weekly in-home behavioral interventions with both children and families, taking on the responsibility of delivering parent education, addressing parenting skills in relation to youth behaviors, behavioral interventions, and providing support to parents and youth in both home and school environments.

As an Intervention Specialist, you will actively participate in various meetings such as family/child team meetings, IEP sessions, school meetings, and KVC team meetings.

Location:

• St. Louis, MO

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, or related field

Schedule:

• Flexible Full-Time, Hybrid-Remote Schedule, depending on the needs of the clients, behavior intervention services, and some school-based services.

Compensation:

• $19.00 per hour.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years old to apply.
• Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required.
• Valid driver's license
• Valid auto insurance

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in child welfare, foster care system, behavioral and trauma informed services, case management, child and adolescent development, family systems, parenting skills and interventions.
• 2 years’ experience in provision of behavioral intervention services
