POSITION SUMMARY:

The Summer Camp Administrator will oversee all first aid and health planning at Iron Peak Sports & Events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Assists in administering summer camp activities
• Support the planning, implementation, and delivery of summer day camp program
• Manage on-site administrative and operation records for day campers
• Stock and maintain all first aid supplies
• Assists facility staff in performing duties required by state regulations applicable to summer camps
• Maintain and enforce policies, procedures, and safety rules at assigned sites
• Help with morning drop-off and check-in as well as afternoon pick-up and sign-out
• Assist Counselors/Coaches with camp duties and supervision of campers
• Establish relationships with camp parents and ensure timely communication regarding parent concerns and questions
• Other duties as assigned by management

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills
• Must be a team player
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, predominately after-school and weekends
• Must possess current CPR/FIRST AID certifications by the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or other certification agency approved by the New Jersey Department of Health in standard First-Aid level training

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to move or lift 50 pounds
• Position requires standing and activity for extended periods of time (indoors or outdoors), squatting, stooping, jogging, or bending into awkward positions while performing job functions
• Facility has intermittent noise
