Millwork and Cabinetry Frame Maker

Village Handcrafted Cabinetry is a family owned and operated custom cabinetry company that has been in business for 3 decades. As a Millwork and Cabinet Frame Maker, you will be constructing custom cabinetry or trim.

Essential Duties and Requirements:

• Use milling equipment to create moldings (crown, base, etc.)
• Build face frames for high end cabinetry
• Cabinetry knowledge/experience along with knowledge of and ability to utilize basic carpentry hand tools and machinery
• Ability to read, interpret and follow directions accurately
• Ability to work under time constraints effectively.
• Be detail oriented and able to work well in a team environment.

Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge and experience utilizing milling equipment (2-3 years)
• Experience building face frames for high end cabinetry (2-3 years)
• Ability to read paperwork (English)
• Ability to maintain standard of quality through detailed inspection
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Hardworking and reliable

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of previous cabinetry building experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• At all times, employees are required to be fit for duty.
• Employees are required to be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Employees stand for long periods of time
• Employees may work in loud work areas
• Employee is expected to be able to problem solve, make well thought out decisions, be organized
