Phlebotomist

Job Duties / Responsibilities
Preparing patients before drawing blood
• Explaining blood draw procedures to patients and answer questions
• Follow all health and safety protocols and procedures to maintain sanitary work area
• Gathering medical testing materials, including needles, sample vials, blood storage bags and test tubes
• Verify patient information and labeling blood samples properly
• Accurately updating patient information in the organization’s database
• Working with supervising physicians & following their directions
• Ability to travel within assigned territory
• Maintain excellent customer service
• Perform administrative duties as needed
Requirements
• Phlebotmist certification
• Requires Valid Driver's License along with a clean driving record.
• Current auto insurance coverage
• Reliable transportation
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
• Elevated level of attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Ensure self and team maintain dress code at all times.
