No Nights – No Weekends!

You will be responsible for assisting our providers with the respiratory assessment and treatment of patient needs in our outpatient clinics.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

· Perform Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT), Alpha-1 Swabs, Methacholine Challenges, Niox (FENO), and other diagnostic tests, including x-ray if certified

· Assist with medication refills, authorizations, maintaining medical supplies, and other administrative tasks as required

· Back-up nursing staff as needed for rooming patients, collecting demographic information, etc.

· Complete duties assigned in a professional manner following established policies and procedures, while maintaining a courteous and cooperative manner towards patients, co-workers, and management

· Other duties as assigned by supervisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Associate Degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy

· Knowledge and ability to perform sound clinical procedures, such as Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), with encouragement, enthusiasm, and compassion.

· Strong verbal and written communication abilities, attention to detail, computer skills

· X-ray certification a plus – but will train if deemed necessary by management

EXPERIENCE: Six months experience in a clinical setting preferred.
