Job Description

Cortica is looking for a Part-time Clinical Psychologist to join its growing multi-disciplinary team!

What will you do?

  • Review clinical documentation to determine appropriateness of fit for evaluation at Cortica
  • Conduct developmental interviews with caregivers, may include utilizing interpreter services
  • Perform Autism- specific, diagnostic assessments (e.g., ADOS-2, tele-ASD-peds, CARS-2), SCQ, Vineland, and potentially other assessments as clinically indicated.
  • Score assessment measures and interpret results of assessment with any additional information provided by family
  • Complete diagnostic evaluation report, including results and recommendations for services, which will be provided to family via follow-up appointment.
  • Collaborate with other clinical team members and supervise masters-level clinicians who may conduct portions of diagnostic and other clinical assessments

We'd love to hear from you if:

  • Licensed by the Massachusetts & Connecticut Board of Examiners of Psychologists, with a specialization in Clinical Psychology, or willing to gain licensure in those states or other states to fulfill business needs.
  • Doctoral Degree (PsyD or PhD) in Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited program, with specific coursework and research in child development, childhood disorders, and pediatric psychological interventions.
  • Periodic trips, occurring up to once per quarter, to Connecticut/Massachusetts are mandatory.
  • 1-2+ years of experience conducting psychological evaluations specifically with a pediatric population, including administering, scoring, and interpreting cognitive, educational, and behavioral assessments for children and adolescents.
  • Familiarity with DSM-5 diagnoses common to the pediatric population, such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, learning disorders, and anxiety disorders.
  • Completed formal training in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), along with a minimum of 6 months' experience in its administration and scoring.
  • Experience in Comprehensive Diagnostic report writing recommendations and feedback
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to explain Autism Spectrum Disorder Diagnosis and assessment results to children, parents, and non-psychologist healthcare providers in an understandable manner.
  • Comfortable providing both in-person and telehealth services, as required, including travel to multiple local centers.
  • Commitment to continued professional development in the field of Clinical Psychology, including staying up to date with the latest research and treatment techniques.
  • Team members must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.

The base pay range for this opening is $65.00 to $110.00 hourly. According to your skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location, you will receive compensation that fits appropriately within the range.
