What We Need:

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Material Handler to work in our Warehouse department. Responsible in assisting the warehouse team with receiving inbound freight, proper storage, inventory maintenance, issuing of manufacturing materials as well as housekeeping and organization of internal and external materials.


Are you:

  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Observant.

A Day in the Life of:·

  • Unload and receive inbound freight and accurate documentation thereof.
  • Maintain FIFO procedures of dated materials.
  • Provide timely communication of damaged or missing freight.
  • Distribute received materials / goods to their proper stocking location.
  • Assist with issuing plant worker’s and department’s supplies and materials as needed.
  • Assist in the assembly of various customer sub-assembly item kits.
  • Assist in maintaining and managing proper storage, housekeeping, safety and organization of chemical storage room.
  • Assist in maintaining safe and proper storage of all goods and materials and housekeeping thereof in the warehouse and supply room.
  • Assist in requested Kan Ban, chem. stocking, inventory cycle, MRP or period ending counts.
  • Assist in monitoring appropriate inventory levels and communicating required needs or overages efficiently.
  • Assist in will call runs as requested in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Assist in resin drum pouring to daily tanks and/or totes.
  • Maintain/Service company will call truck.
  • Maintain and/or assist in transferring goods to and from off-site warehouses.
  • Maintain Empty Barrel program.
  • Assist in hazardous waste management.
  • Assist in maintaining recycle program.
  • Assist in understanding managing customer demands through bill of materials, forecasts, and bar coating.
  • Desired skills include multi-tasking, team player, self-starter, good communication and computer skills.
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner. Follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment as required always.
  • Clean work area throughout the day to avoid clutter and maintain good housekeeping.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

What Makes You Qualified:

  • HS Diploma/GED preferred or equivalent industrial experience.
  • Experience in warehouse, inventory and manufacturing environment preferred.

Must Haves:

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be flexible, reliable, responsible and a team player in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Must be thorough and accurate with counting, documentation, recognizing multiple parts and nomenclature.
  • Requires physical stamina.
  • Must have legal driver’s license.
  • Effective communication in a bilingual environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently and reliably with little supervision.
  • Forklift certification.
