Description of Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Technician role requires strong relationships with the operations teams to act as a conduit to effective execution of new orders and implementation of custom customer solutions. This role is based in the corporate headquarters.

Logistics Manager
In the absence of the Logistics Manager: Director of Pharmacy Operations; Pharmacist in Charge
Scope of Supervision
None
Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician include the following:
· Performs accurate dispensing functions that are related to lot assignment, label printing, and supplies.
· Performs quality checks prior to pharmacist verification and organizing medications for pharmacist verification.
· Ensures all names and addresses are correct on each label and shipment.
· Confirms all pending dispenses and shipments at the end of day to ensure all work is completed appropriately.
· Orders / maintains an accurate inventory of nursing supplies, medications, shipping supplies, etc.
· Assists with inventory management and inventory count.
- Represent the pharmacy in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with patients, providers, and peers.
- Work collaboratively with internal staff to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer.
- Additional tasks as required by management.
Salary Range
· $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Qualifications and Preferred Skills
· Preferred Pharmacy Technician license with the State Board of Pharmacy (where applicable).
· Previous experience working in a Retail / Specialty Pharmacy / Physician Office / Insurance
· Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records.
· Ability to evaluate options and to make efficient decisions.
· Computer skills that include proficiency with spreadsheets and use of the internet, as well as word processing, and efficient use of the internet and e-mail.
· Candidates should have a working knowledge of pharmacy applications.
· Knowledge of medical terminology
· Data entry skills required.
