Journeyman Electrician- Residential Work

An established, well-respected, and growing Electrical Company has an immediate opportunity for a qualified Journeyman Electrician (Must a hold a Journeyman Card in the State of Washington) to service our clients. Essential Responsibilities:

· Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring system

· Diagnose malfunctioning systems, test electrical components and continuity of circuits to locate the cause of the breakdown and correct the issue

· Installation/repair/maintenance of circuit breakers, transformers, generators, and security systems

· Install panels, conduit feeders, branch circuits, devices, lighting, and fixtures

· Responsible for understanding and reading plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements

· Responsible for crews on residential electrical projects

· Able to organize work, run teams and safely manage projects from start to finish

· Continually updating knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

Essential Qualifications:

· Washington licensed Journeyman Electrician

· Five (5) years plus of experience in an electrician position

· Self-motivated capable of working as a team and with limited supervision

· Must have strong written and oral communication skills

· Positive attitude and professional customer service

· Able and willing to work in all aspects of the industry residential and service work

· Basic Math Skills

· Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams

· Clean driving record

· Able to bend small and large conduit

· Working with and being exposed to 240 volts

• Demonstrated ability to problem solve complex control systems and fix the problems

· A detailed and strong work ethic

· Must possess a strong attention to detail

· Able to take and give instruction and act on them

· Knowledge of safety procedures

• Knowledge of and experience with National Electric Code and any relevant local codes
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening
