Job Overview: As a Roofer Foreman at West Coast Roofing, you'll be a pivotal leader responsible for managing the safety, productivity, and quality of assigned personnel and projects. From start to finish, you'll ensure that roofing operations are conducted efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your role as a Foreman is not only about overseeing tasks but also about embodying leadership and serving as a resource for your team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Master all roofer responsibilities and duties, leading by example.
• Perform and oversee installation of flashing metal, vents, coping, etc., ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Provide exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making throughout roofing projects.
• Accept, communicate, and follow through with all assigned tasks promptly.
• Supervise and direct a crew of roofing workers, prioritizing safety at all times.
• Ensure safety of crew, clients, and property, adhering to OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Care for company assets, including equipment, tools, and vehicles.
• Coordinate crew schedules, breaks, and shift timings.
• Delegate responsibilities effectively and monitor production and craftsmanship quality.
• Conduct daily inspections, organize duties, and ensure availability of necessary equipment and materials.
• Enforce company policies and report any violations to management.
• Develop and execute strategies for assigned jobs, ensuring successful outcomes.
• Perform quality assurance checks and provide guidance as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and management.
• Provide daily reports to Roofer Superintendent and Estimator.
• Maintain accurate records of activities using company software.

Ideal Candidate:

• 4+ years of experience in all types of roofing, including residential and commercial.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Exceptional customer service skills and professionalism.
• OSHA 10 Certified and Fall Protection/PPE Certified – we offer training opportunities.
• Proficiency with smartphones and computers preferred.
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment and meet high expectations.
• Demonstrated commitment to self-improvement and continuous learning.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
