What you will be Doing:
- Operating and maintaining compressor stations, involving electrical and mechanical problems.
- Monitoring and completing routine inspections on the compressors’ operational systems (e.g., compressor units, inline heaters, dehydration units, instrument gas/air, fuel gas, filters, cooling water, pumps, VRU’s, etc.)
- Performing or assisting in all phases of construction, start-up, operation, and maintenance of equipment within gas compressor stations.
- Operating compressor to assist others in troubleshooting and repairing unit problems.
- Operating/maintaining high pressure lift gas systems.
- Completing all required paperwork associated with these duties.
- Maintaining safe operation of equipment and safety of crew as a top priority.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Must have strong mechanical and/or electronic aptitude.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and clean abstract.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
- Work environment may include moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles and moderate to loud noise, requiring consistent use of appropriate PPE.
- Able to work in an environment where noise level is moderate to loud.
- Able and willing to be on call nights, weeks, and holidays.
- Able to work a 10/4 schedule, 10-hour shifts.
Must reside in the Midland/Odessa area.
