Job Description
GovFirst is currently seeking an Intelligence Researcher to support our client on an Intel Project in Washington, D.C.

The successful candidate will undertake primary source research to analyze and report on racially and ethically motivated violent extremism and antisemitism.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough primary source research on domestic extremist groups and individuals, both in the United States and internationally.
  • Analyzing and synthesizing information from various online platforms, including social media, to track the activities and ideologies of extremist groups and individuals.
  • Producing high-quality reports on findings, with a focus on providing accurate and timely insights into emerging trends and threats.
  • Demonstrating strong writing skills to produce content that requires minimal editing, ensuring clarity, coherence, and adherence to established guidelines.
  • Collaborating closely with team members to contribute to the overall objectives of the project.


Requirements
  1. Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated expertise as a researcher specializing in domestic extremist groups and individuals, backed by a solid track record of published research in this realm.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in conducting primary source research and analyzing online content pertaining to extremism.
  • Strong teamwork abilities coupled with a genuine drive to make a meaningful contribution towards addressing concerns surrounding domestic terrorism and antisemitism.
Work Authorization Required:
  • U.S. Citizen

Education Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Engaging in self-directed research endeavors, refining your critical research skills, and broadening your comprehension of domestic terrorism threats.
  • Delivering briefings to diverse audiences, including law enforcement agencies, governmental bodies, supranational organizations, media platforms, and academic institutions.

Furthermore, the chosen candidate must commit to a two-year tenure.
