Medical Customer Service Representative

We are recruiting qualified candidates to join our excellent Customer Service team.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
· Customer Service Representative / Medical Billing responsibilities
· Handle inbound and outbound calls for past due account
· Negotiate outstanding debts
· Retrieve and send Medical Records
· Executing course of action to recover outstanding payments
· Handle questions and complaints
· Backstop for scheduling with surgeon offices and hospitals
· Handle office supplies such as mailing and ordering
· Complete tasks as requested
Qualifications:
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to prioritize and multitask
· Basic math and computer literacy skills
· Professionalism and the ability to build rapport with customers and patients
· Foster teamwork and cooperation
· Preferred - previous experience in debt collection, outbound call center, telemarketing, customer service, sales, or other related fields
· Preferred - Bilingual (English/Spanish) language proficiency
· Preferred – two years of experience in the medical industry
· Successfully pass a background check
Working Conditions:
· Regular work in an office setting
Physical Demands:
· Ability to lift a maximum of fifty (50) pounds.
· Ability to sit for long periods
